Nicole Neyt and Lorinda van Wyk participated in this years RSC Twitter Poster Conference held over 24 hours from the 1st to 2nd of March 2022. Nicole presented her work towards the development of a novel flow ozonolysis flow reactor which allows on-the-fly ozone degassing and Lorinda presented her’s and Nicole’s efforts to develop a fully automated flow synthesis of the anti-depressant Bupropion (Wellbutrin) using green chemistry principles. We were delighted when Nicole and Lorinda were awarded first place and runner-up in the engineering catagory, and this marks the second time that Nicole has been awarded first place in the engineering catagory.
